I live in canada so we don’t have spanish as a course. I want to learn spanish easily and quickly. I just need a few key words, need to memorize some sentences. Should i talk to my mexican friends in the sentences i know. what i was thinking was using a translater for the most part for the instant messaging, and memorizing sentences and words. Can someone help me? what do i do?

There is a good lens on squidoo about your question :-)
Apparently you can learn Spanish in 5 minutes… which answers the second part of your question!
Will it be easy? I think it will, because pronunciation is provided, one word at a time.

I would like to learn spanish but I don’t really know where to start. What would be a good book/website/program/whatever that would help me learn to speak spanish fluently. It would have to be relatively inexpensive because I’m poor, haha . I’m hoping after I learn spanish I could learn French, Chinese and maybe Italian.

Rosetta Stone offers a course on how to learn different languages fast, check it out. If you’re still in school, then take a class.

What’s the best/reccomended way to learn Spanish?

I live in the UK right now and I plan on moving to Spain after I get my University Degree. I’m going to be a Business Major, I’m 17 right now so I have plenty of time to learn.

I just don’t know what’s the best way to learn, the degree I am doing is a Bachelor’s that has an option of doing a Minor in Spanish but I don’t think that will be enough.

So what’s the best way for me to learn Spanish?

By far rthe best way for you to learn Spanish to a good standard in a reasonablly short period of time is to take an Instensive or semi-intensive course over here in Spain.
You will take a varierty of lessons every week – maybe between 30 and 45 Hours, but these will not all be done in the classroom – you will be taken shopping, to the Theatre, out to Dinner etc… to enable you not only to get a feel for the Grammar and Vcab, but to learn also about the correct Pronunciation, The Spanish Culture and how the language is used.
You can also elect to stay in the Home of a Spanish speaking family, so that during your stay in Spain you will be fully Immersed in the language and will interact with very few English Speakers.
This full Immersion / Intensive training is generally tailored to suit your requirements in terms if time of year, duration of stay, location etc… – The real trick is keeping practicing the language when you are back in the UK.
