I told me friend that it was more useful to know Chinese because of business and China has more people then any country in the world, but he said its better to learn Spanish because the United States is so close to a Spanish speaking country. Which Langauge is more useful? i need help for planning for my classes for next year!
It depends on where you want to work in the future.
I personally recommend Chinese especially if you are not thinking of staying in the states in the future, and if you are not going to apply to countries where Spanish is the main language. Not to mention, Chinese is becoming one of the most useful languages these days.
But keep in mind that when it comes to the Chinese language, there is a difference between Cantonese and Mandarin. Mandarin is more commonly used world-wide and it is a very useful language in the business world.

i am looking to learn a little spanish online but idk were to go can someone help plz
Try www.spanishpod101.com.
I haven’t used it myself since I grew up learning spanish, but my father seems to have found it quite useful. I know there is a subscription fee, but I believe they do still have free podcasts that you can download for no charge. The subscription just gives you access to several more.
I’m thinking about trying out one of the other languages they have, though. ~

im thinking bout goin to Chilie for 5 weeks to learn Spanish, I would have 20 lessons of 55 minutes per week ++ i would stay in a host family .
After these 5 weeks, will i be fluent in spanish? my first language is french n i already know the basics
Unless you’re a genius with languages, you wont be fluent after 5 weeks of intensive language classes…
However, French and Spanish have a lot in common so since your first language is French and you already know the basics of Spanish you could reach an intermediate conversational level of Spanish after the 5 week intensive course in Chile.
Suerte!
