I’d like to learn spanish. Is there any CD’s or DVDs out there that would help me ? Or what has helped you learn Spanish?
use this website http://www.livemocha.com/ it’s free…. you can learn whatever language you want, other members can help correct your work plus you can chat to other people in the language you are learning to help…. doing this and just looking up the verb forms and vocublary online has helped me but i find it kind of boring to learn on my own and start to loose motivation so i think taking a course is a good way to keep it fun and interesting.

I took three semesters of spanish and I still didn’t get the hang of the language. But, of course, that was my fault. First of all if you want to learn spanish buy a very good spanish program. Such as rosetta stone (expensive but worth it). The best advice my professor use to give the class was to practice the language every day, repeat, memorize, practice, watch and read in spanish and, eventually, you will get better. But you wont get good overnight or even a year. You have to practice for years and keep up with it in order to get effective results. Its a matter of commitment and motivation and the will to want to speak spanish. Oh ya and patience. Hope I helped. Good luck.
